Our Story
Dartford Training Services, LLC is a safety training and consultation business providing American Red Cross and Health and Safety Institute training founded by instructor trainer Marcus Porchia in April of 2022. Dartford Training started as a local aquatics training and consultation firm in Joliet, IL that has rapidly expanded into offering not just aquatics based training but other services like CPR, BLS, in-service trainings, etc. As a company we have trained thousands of participants across the nation.
Our variety of course offerings make us a diverse organization that is continuously growing. We provide our participants with world class and nationally recognized American Red Cross and HSI lifesaving training.
Our mission is to provide high-quality and affordable training services to all the communities we serve by meeting and teaching all our courses to the standards of our certifying organizations.
About the Founder
Marcus Porchia
Owner, Founder, and CEO​
Marcus has an extensive background in the aquatics field. Here he has conducted trainings, observations, and safety consultations for multiple facilities around the Midwest. He furthered his education by earning his EMT license ('23) and bachelors degree ('24).

When Marcus earned his American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer certification in 2021, he knew he would peruse a career in bringing lifesaving training to as many he could. Today, with the help of all the instructors within the organization his mission has reached over 12 different states, and the company is continuously growing.

Marcus holds instructor trainer certifications from both the American Red Cross and the Health and Safety Institute. He is also an Firefighter/EMT with a local fire department.
