This updated program trains Lifeguarding instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding courses. Candidates will be tasked with demonstrating all skills to standard and will be expected to perform practice teaching assignments to show competency in all American Red Cross Lifeguarding skills and procedures. An online portion of the course will need to be completed prior to the first day of class.
Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certification valid for 2-years.
