About the event
The Emergency Medical Response course is a dynamic 56-hour program featuring lecture, videos, simulated emergency situations, discussion and hands-on skill practice based on the national EMS curriculum requirements and educational standards.
This course does not issue a national certification or stat licensure like the NREMT. This course is ideal for high school and college-aged students to receive training similar to the training EMS professionals receive as they look to enter careers in healthcare, public safety, or law enforcement.
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be awarded an American Red Cross certification as an Emergency Medical Responder with Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and Administering Emergency Oxygen.
